Have you ever enjoyed an evening of real, memorable Italian hospitality? The fresh food will be carefully chosen and caringly cooked; the tastes and flavours will be many, succulent and varied; the wines will partner the dishes; the ambience will be relaxed and especially welcoming! Many think the Italian experience is so special it's worth crossing a continent for!

But now you don't have to travel! Salvo's offers “an Italian experience” in the form of intimate dining in our Salumeria, just 2 doors down from our restaurant. We are offering a dinner menu showcasing the authentic, regional, true tastes of Italy . These are not the “drop-in evenings" available in our restaurants, reservations are essential as tables are very limited for these special evenings.

We will be showcasing typical food and wines of the many regions of Italy with a regularly changing menu and wine list.

REGIONAL ITALIAN DINNER MENU

The evening's dinner consists of a ten course tasting menu using genuine and artisan ingredients, typical dishes and traditional specialists of the region something like the menu below.

ANTIPASTI VARIE

Various plates of mixed appetizers to stimulate the taste bids and get the evening underway! There would usually be 5 or 6 of these.

PRIMO PIATTO

A typical pasta dish.

SECONDO

A memorable main course.

FORMAGGI

Some superlative tastes from our award-winning, unpasturised, regional, Italian cheeses.

DOLCI

As in Italy , some seasonal fruit or dessert to relax the palate.

CAFFE E BISCOTTI

Coffee and a sweet thing.
