SLOW FOOD EVENTS WITH SWILLINGTON ORGANIC FARM, LEEDS
The one hundred and sixty acres of Swillington Organic Farm form part of the historic Swillington Park Estate. The farm is home to all of our free range and organic animals and a diverse range of wildlife. The farm has a diverse range of habitats including woodland, marsh, pasture and ponds, providing a haven for wildlife and the perfect place for our organic rare breed pigs and native breed cattle and sheep as well as free range organic poultry. The Farm is rearing a small flock of lambs and a rare breed of Saddleback pigs for Salvo's to be used for the following events:

SEPTEMBER - LAMB WEEK

Monday 26th to 1st October

The farm are rearing a small flock of lambs for Salvo's; The chefs will recreate traditional lamb dishes in the restaurant and Salumeria all week.

OCTOBER - AUTUMN LEAVES AND MUTTON STEW

Wednesday 19th October

Enjoy the season’s bounty with Swillington's organic mutton lovely Autumn veg, we shall be cooking whatever is harvested that morning.

DECEMBER - THIS LITTLE PIGGIE

Tuesday 6th December

The farm is rearing a rare breed saddleback for us just in time for the festive season. We shall celebrate with a porky dinner party in the Salumeria.
