WHERE TO EAT ITALIAN!

The Sunday Times 4th December 2005

This lively Trattoria serves Italian grub that, really does taste like mamma used to make - Mamma Dammone that is.

Her family have been dishing up gargantuan portions of pasta and meatballs since 1976 and even the prices (from £12 for 2 courses ) haven't changed much.

Alongside the classics there's also more Mediterranean fare, such as sea bass with rocket and pancetta.

The downside? Good, cheap food means long queues. Be prepared to wait.
