Hot on the heels of Gip's appearance on BBC's Great British Menu programme, sales of Tondo Di Spagna olives have tripled recently. Gip appeared on the
programme helping renowned Leeds Chef and show contestant Anthony Flinn of
Anthony's Restaurant choosing olives for one of his dishes. Filming took
place in the Salvo's Salumeria and Salvo's kitchens showing Gip and Anthony
sampling a variety of Olives frOm the Salumeria before deciding the Tondo di
Spagna fitted the bill.
Since the programme sales have gone through the
roof leaving our Artisan Producer struggling to cope with demand.
