LAUNCH OF A GLUTEN AND WHEAT FREE PIZZA BASE

The Telegraph & Argus 26th June 2008

A Bradford producer of gluten free and wheat-free foods based on traditional Brazilian recipes has teamed up with a leading Italian restaurant to launch a gluten and wheat free pizza base mix. Isabel Gordon, director of Brazilian Flavours, has developed the mix in partnership with Gip Dammone, co-owner of Salvo’s, a leading Leeds pizzeria in Headingley, who was keen to find a gluten and wheat-free pizza base to cater for the rising number of gluten intolerant customers. By combining traditional Brazilian allergy flours and the skills of Salvo’s pizzaolas, Brazilian Flavours has produced a mix which creates this crust Neapolitan style gluten and wheat-free pizza bases.
