SALVO'S DONATES RESTAURANT AND ALL FOOD TO FUND-RAISER

Headingley based institution Salvo’s Italian Restaurant is supporting an imminent Headingley Development Trust fundraising event by donating the restaurant’s sister deli Salvo’s Salumeria (deli) and all food for the special dinner.

Headingley Development Trust is in the process of raising necessary funds for the brand new HEART centre (Headingley Enterprise and Arts Centre), which is for the local community and is based in the ‘heart’ of Headingley.

John Dammone, Salvo’s owner say’s: “We work closely with Headingley Development Trust where possible, and by offering Salvo’s Salumeria for a fund raising event meant that we can be part of the HDT plans and that we are also able to give something back to the community. Alongside the venue we are also donating all the produce for the 6-course dinner. We hope that the tables are booked up fully in support of HEART as all ticket proceeds go straight to the centre”.

The fund-raising event is planned for Tuesday 15th June at 7.30pm at Salvo’s Salumeria, 109 Otley Road, Headingley, Leeds, LS6 3PX.

Chair of the HDT board, Richard Norton, welcomed the fundraiser and commented that Salvo's has been supportive of the Trust since its inception. "We hope that many people support this fantastic initiative. Salvo's have been very generous in donating the venue and the food, and we know from experience that the event will be a very enjoyable occasion, as well as a boost to the funds of HDT."
