Salvo's was an OLIVE favourite long before Gordon Ramsay discovered their rustic, family-run charms, and their food has long been legendary in Leeds.

Squid makes only one appearance on their lengthy menu, but trust us, it's a good one. Deep-fried with courgette, and served with a caper mayonnaise for dipping, their frittura di calamari e zucchine is simply delicious.
